No source yet, but I'm writing the article about it so the source will be available pretty soon. Here's the part you're interested in:
flyvelocity += gravity * elapsed;
flyvelocity.X += wind * elapsed * 100;
flyposition += flyvelocity * elapsed;
flyrotation = (float)Math.Atan(-flyvelocity.X / flyvelocity.Y);

It's like Jitzu said, the point was to use XNA to create this very quickly. I'll add another player of course and that's when things should start being fun to play.
The music in this video isn't part of the game, I just played it along so it's not so plain. It's a track by a chiptune group AY Riders, created with a ZX Spectrum 128k sound chip.
