still wondering what the silver alto sax is...I play a Stephanhauser Model #1500 with the silver plate and love it! and a Lawton 6 mouthpeice with LaVoz medium...just sayin.

Just enjoy practise hard. Your Currently below his league, would not be reasonable to use. You have to gradually come in to your own. Different sax system from amatuer altogether. ( The Prophetplatypus)

I seem to remember reading somewhere that he uses a beechler bellite metal mouthpiece (model 8), vandoren v16 3.5 reeds, and a winslow ligature. This is when playing the alto of course.

Like I said I have seen him 11 times he keeps getting better with time, he has been my idol now for over 10 years and I still can't get enough of Boney James he will always be my Favorite and my Sexy Sax Man!!!!!!!!!! LOVE YA BONEY!!
