Bonnie Prince BIlly's version of the classic song "Here Today, Gone Tomorrow", originally performed by the Ramones. This is an outtake from the "Ease Down The Road"-album, I'm not sure if it figures as a bonus track on some editions (mine hasn't got any bonus tracks anyway).
Nothing but the song and a single picture.

Lyrics and chords if you wanna play it:

Oh oh oh oh, oh ooh oh, I love you
Oh oh oh oh, oh oh oh, I love you
I do, I do

But I told you why we just can't make it
I want you still, but I just can't take it
The time has come we ought to break it
Someone had to pay the price

Oh oh oh oh, oh oh oh, it's over
Oh oh oh oh, oh oh oh, all over
It's true, it's true

And I think of times we were together
As time went on, it seemed forever
The times have changed, now things are better
Someone had to pay the price

  • It could be from a rare 1994 album named "an arrow through the bitch", where I re-found a most excellent song called Stable Will - I HIGHLY recommend searching for it on here. I'd post the link here but it doesn't let me. Just search "PALACE BROTHERS stable will 1994", and you should find it. And while you're at it, my second favorite Will Oldham song, called "come in"... search "Palace Brothers - Come In (1993)". I think you will be pleasantly pleased :)

  • I used to have a live version of this song, but it's lost somewhere in one of my old hardrives - I can't explain it, but it was so much better than this one - though I am very grateful to even be able to hear this version!

  • uh?! where did you find it? maybe it was in a tribute compilation? mumble mumble.. thank you :)
