good info but why are a lot of good new players today tenors sound nasal or a bit muffled,certainly not like great tenors players like a Dexter,a Stitt Trane etc ,i should think these techniques could muffle you even more

i really like playing in E, F#, C# and B, but i don't really go for the dirty sound so often
