the ladette to lady anthem of eggleston hall is the same tune as this.
only instead of
' to be a pilgrim' the ladette to lady anthem goes 'to be a lady, or so we think so'.

i am a 21 years old organist from india and i have played this tune-monks gate[he who would valiant be] in its original version on an english pipe organ [which i usually play]. the pipe organ was made in brighton in england in 1899 by messers morgan and smith and w h hill norman and beard company and shipped to india in the himalayas in shimla [christ church] its fully phenumatic key and its leather puffers had stood for more than hundred years, too glad to see that u have cared for old organs!

We currently have eight pipe organs in stock; the 1877 one you see with is nearly finished, an 1880's one which was unfortunately extensively modernised/altered in the 1930's which we are currently working on, and the other six that are in store awaiting restoration. No tow organs are alike, which makes the job fascinating. The earliest one we have is an 1864 Lloyd & Dudgeon. There are only four known organs of this make left in the world, and we have the largest existing one currently in store!
