Native American veterans have been
serving in the military ever since
George Washington ask for their help
in fighting the British.

These veterans followed their great
traditions as brave warriors through
the battles of World War II, Korea,
Vietnam, Desert Storm, Iraq/Afghanistan and other conflicts.

Many of these veterans returned to their homeland only to find limited opportunities. Native Americans living on reservations are the most impoverished in this country, yet
they still answer the call of duty for this great nation.

This video is dedicated to those brave men and women who stood in the face of despair so that they may live the "Impossible Dream" and overcome harsh conditions.

  • Some times with all that life throws at us we forget, until we see a video like this and we remember those who served before us and those who will serve after us and why we answered the call in the begining.

  • It leaves a big question mark why these people have limited opportunities while on the other hand they should be given priority.

  • @idonthavealoginname Why? To keep something worse from taking over, that's why. We fight for our families and our people, to preserve the precious little freedom that we have. If you're not Indigenous American, then you probably will never understand, no matter how eloquently or how many times it is explained to you.

  • Why would you serve a country that murdered your kin and stole your land?I dont understand that at all,

The murdering and stealing from Native Americans is one of worlds most unreported crimes yet Americans go around the world criticising and lecturing others for human rights abuses.

    Talk about hypocrisy!

  • Don't you natives think about why this hate is still ongoing? C'mon it all has to stop somewhere....unless you like it.
