Tons of "unanswered questions" in the book of Genesis? Those are what we call Plot Holes. When you write a fictional story based on a spiritual understanding it's impossible to explain everything logically. Especially if it is normally meant symbolically and not literally. Literal interpenetration of a spiritual story is normally a huge mistake.
