@Nuch3412 You're either lying or you don't know how to launch the car properly, I'm going to say both. Go to MazdaspeedForums. Many people, have pulled LOW 14s and high 13s BONE STOCK... myself included has run a 13.8 stock. 350whp is easily running mid-low 13s. You need driver mod.
LOLOLOL @ 14.8 1/4 mile in a Mazdaspeed6. That is just HORRIBLE....
@Nuch3412 14.8?? not trying to bash on u or anything but thats not gud. i ran 14.6 on a stock 08 ms3 with only a SU rear engine mount sure anchors n running vta hks bov n i hav 200+ extra lbs due to my system. an ms6 that i saw not stock was runing mid 12's n anothr ms3 that i ran againt ran 14.1 but it had some bolt ons. u should b able to easily run high 13's cuz u hav awd i spin on 1st n 2nd lol
That speed6 is deffinently not stock. I have a new TMIC, CAI, corksport turboback exhaust and a tune. I'm pushing 350awhp and the best time my car ever got at the track was a 14.8 at 95mph. That was with a professional to.
@dynamho I do agree with ZR-1 over R35, but I'd actually rather not have either. I think mainly b/c the Corvette is made in my town, and around here they're a dime a dozen. Ver nice cars, yes... but extremely common.
I'd much rather have a Porche 911 GT3RS. Track car for the road all the way! :)
@19danflo speed6 hands down. they are very nice inside and out and have an incredible amount of room. also if in the future you wanted to modify it and make it a little quicker it would not be hard to do. i work at a mazda dealer in illinois and i must say (all though there was not nearly as many speed6's made/sold as our other models) i dont see to many of them through our shop complaining with problems. also a buddy of mine has one putting down over 300whp and has yet to have a problem with it
hey guys your opinion is greatly needed and appreciated. now, i'm finally ready to graduate from college and i have a baby on the way and need a more practical car. sadly i will have to trade in my baby, my honda s2000. it's between altima se-r and a mazdaspeed 6. please provide valid points for either. actual owners opinions are preffered. thank you very much.
I'm going to have to side with 01Z06guy over 12389h.
One simply cannot claim to be into motorsports if he/she doesn't know Corvette's heritage. This is coming from an RX-8 and Speed6 owner.
I'd rather own a ZR-1 than a R35 any day. Any idiot can drive an R35 fast. Actually the C6 that I'd really like is the Grand Sport. It is so choice to drive even though it isn't the fastest.
@Nuch3412 bullshit, you dont make 350AWHP with just that.... and then make that horrible run.

@01Z06guy Well your right, the GT-R is a supercar "killer".

@12389h
No it isn't. And none of those cars are supercars.
