  • Repentance is required to turn from our sin, but it isn't enough to atone for our sin. Atonement from sin is prescribed in Leviticus 17:11 through the blood of a sacrifice. This is why we are forbidden from eating blood because blood is the life of an animal, and the means by which we make atonement (through sacrifice). The whole sacrificial system points to the Messiah who would make the final atonement - I believe that Messiah and final atonement is Yeshua (Jesus)!

  • @aarontrank Micah 6:6-8 says it is enough. I guess it's your claim versus the Bible.

Leviticus 17:11 is not a teaching on how to obtain atonement. It's a teaching on the prohibition of consuming blood. The last part of your comment only exists in your imagination not in the Bible.

  • @Jews4Judaism Leviticus 17 is a teaching on the sanctity of blood, the prohibition against eating blood is the effect, not the cause. The cause is that the life of the animal is in the blood, and the Lord has given it (blood upon the altar) that we might make atonement for our souls. Micah 6:6-8 shows us that sacrifice while a person is continuing in sin is worthless before God. Sacrifice must be accompanied by true repentance (turning from sin!).

  • @aarontrank Micah 6:8 says "and what does the LORD require of you ONLY (KI IM) to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? " KI IM in Hebrew means ONLY.

Can you find me ONE verse from Joshua - Malachi (the books of the prophets) that EVER mention the need of blood to obtain forgiveness?

  • @Jews4Judaism You are taking two words out of context. "כי אם" Micah 6:6-8 is about the attitude of the heart. I don't need to find a verse in the Nevi'im, the prophets, I have a verse in the Torah which is quite clear. Leviticus 17:11 "For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it for you on the altar to make atonement for your souls, for it is the blood that makes atonement by the life." This is the Law of God as established by Him!

  • @aarontrank I am taking it out of context? I just quoted it. There's no mention of blood.

You seem to admit that you can't find a verse in the Prophets.

Lev 17:11 says the only USE of blood is for atonement. It does NOT say the only method for atonement is blood. Who is taking things out of context?

  • Thank you for posting this video. It is excellent and spot-on.

  • @aarontrank JESUS SAID I AM THE WAY THE THRUTH AND THE LIVE NO MAN COME'S THE FATHER EXEPT BY ME SALVITION IS IN JESUS CHRIST ONLY HE WAS MADE FOR THAT REASON ONLY TO SAVE US ALL FROM HELL

  • @aarontrank

Nice idea, but jesus is Yeshua the annoited High priest Zac 3.

The Messiah when he comes is to rule over Israel(thou it wont be called that) and bring peace to the world, the 1000 years of peace, The Messiah is Immanuel, not Yeshua.

    God saves- Yeshua. Joshua. Jesus.

Joshua Annoited, in greek is- Jesus Chirst.

"No one can come to the father except through me" Joshua- God saves.

Word of god:- "Apart from me, there is no rock, I know of none" Isaiah

  • @TruthLikeWater No it doesn,t you moron. And there is no such concept as a human sacrifice atoning for anything, in the Torah or in Judaism. Nor does the JEWISH Messiah have anything at all to do with anyone's "salvation" as such a concept as anyone even needing salvation in the first place, has never existed in Judaism. It was created by the Catholic Church just like the concept of Original Sin was created by the Catholics, by Augustine specifically. Isaiah 53 doesnt say what you've got there.

  • Thank you for this post. If only the Yoshke people would read it and act on it instead of trying to convert Jews to their foolish ways.

  • They WHOLE Tanakh (old testament) speaks about the Messiah, that only through Him is there salvation, to deny Christ is to deny The Father, if you do not keep the commandments of the Word of God, (The Messiah spoke commandments and Word of God), you are in disobedience and rebellion. Isaiah 55:3 is a prophesy for Yeshua, an Everlasting covenant. repent means to turn from your ways, not say sorry, The Christ Is THE purpose of Judaism and IS Judaism. Read the book of Hebrews from the New Testament

  • @johnmcglone4 So then: Do you now Believe that it is prescribed in Tanach; That, rather than by the blood of animals, but by the blood of a G-D/human sacrifice; That you are absolved of your actions in life, or that you now live without sin, regardless of what you do because of a G-D/human sacrifice?

The word messiah does not exist in the Tanach.
