@kenziebuggymnast1: My advice is you need to sit back a lot and jump high! Because when you do that, you get the diagonal motion you're looking for and gravity will help you the rest of the way, but it is CRUCIAL that you remember to sit back jump high, sit back jump high, and get into that habit and you've got it! Another tip, after each back handspring, I recommend ending with your hands up, because then it becomes habit and you will already be ready to transition to a 2nd handspring.

Just saying.. Do not listen to this video, only because it seems simple reading this when you already have the SKILL to do a back handspring, but if you don't have a coach teach you the proper technique then you are going to get hurt.. So don't try this unless you've had a coach tell you they're confident you can do it and don't do it unless YOU'RE confident also...

@cheergirl1436 Dont think about it...Well think about how to do it...but then JUST DO IT and if you do then youll land it....Its just a mental thing.

@cheergirl1436 I don't know if your mind works the same way as mine, but for me, you just have to think like a guy. (which means you don't think at all.) just do it. But don't forget to focus on keeping it straight and long.

@Brookelovesu11 try doing at least 15 backbends and hold them for 8 seconds each! i know this sounds weird.... but i think its because youre not flexible enouigh!
My sources:
im a proffesional dancer 42 hours a week! i had the same problem! hop ei helped!
