First test flight of my new Blade 400 3D. I owned a couple Walkera's before but had a lot of trouble with them. I actually sold them and bought an airplane. I decided to give the RC helicopter another try but this time get something better then I had before. Radio changes where made using this guide: http://www.horizonhobby.com/ProdInfo/Files/DX6iDefault-Program-Settings_Blade...
yes, the trainers were mainly invented for nitro helicopters only, but someone got 4 pingpong balls and 4 sticks and put it on light weight mini heli's , all they do is move the cg (centre of gravity) and messes up the weights, so you need to adjust it, my dvice, you a simulator to learn how to take off, and land for 1-2 days, then fly your blade

did you change any settings before flying it, i did the same as you, put trainers on it, and it was NOT stable at all, it was entirely too sensitive, i couldnt keep it horzontal, any advice?

Im selling my blade 400 3d. It would be great if i hadnt come from a Nitro back gound. Just not enough noise or smoke for me. I find it to be VERY sensitive also compared to the larger nitros. good bird but i wont miss it!
