Hear the sounds of the desert without feeling the heat!
Take an adventure to the Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum with Enrique Sonora on a an early morning in Spring. I hope you enjoy viewing all the attractions of saguaros, rattle snakes, wildcats, cacti, otters, Big horn sheep, prairie dogs, javelina, Gila monster, the rare Mexican wolf, white tail deer, many lizards and the riparian habitats that enclose the native wildlife. You'll also see the rare Colorado river Chub fish and local fish that inhabit the streams of the upper Sonoran desert. We walk the winding trail that leads us to the aviary that encloses Gamble Quail, ducks, Arizona Red Cardinal and many more birds.
Sorry guy's didn't get the prairie dogs in, I ran out of editing time.

If you ever here in southern Arizona, make plans to visit the Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum. It is the best attraction here in the desert.
Music by Marty Robbins from the album: The Essential Marty Robbins, 1952-1982, title: Man Walk Among Us.

  • Cool video, thanks for posting. I've always wanted to go there.

  • @mhz23 Glad you enjoyed this one. It is a wonderful place. It is open 365 days a year, so plan a trip.

  • Enrique, just spotted your video on the Sonoran Desert Museum and drive thru the Saguaro National Park on Gates Pass Blvd. Very well done, and I like the steady hand there. We love that museum and surrounding park and cactus, and every winter up here in the Ohio Valley, that place calls to us. Been there 3 times and have never seen it all; most don't realize how much walking you can do there. Just an amazing museum.

By the way, can you post what camera you used in making this video? Thanks

  • @tomr7r11 Thanks for watching. Especially the Gates Pass vid. You are correct about seeing everything in one day, there is a of trail to cover. Stay tuned to my channel, I just shot more video of areas not covered in this video. I visited a couple of weeks ago. There is more video on the Hummingbirds, gardens, earth sciences center, Hawk demonstration and more!

  • Will look for that video as well. I have seen and shot (with a point and shot camera) most of the gardens and animal displays near the front entrance with the grand kids, and got a few great pics, but not along on the 1/2 mile trail. Now I have a Canon 60D, and want to go again to shoot it all over once more, including videos. So, what camera are you using for your videos? What is puzzling me is how many camera SD memory cards do I need to shoot the whole thing. LOL

  • @tomr7r11 Oops, forgot your camera question. I use a Canon Vixia HFM301. Got this at Costco for $330. It comes with 8gig memory, (about 2 hrs.) I suggest getting bigger battery. If I had a couple hundred bucks I would an upgraded version from Canon. check VideoMaker magazine for good reviews,
