This vid is a perfect exhibition of male social hierarchy. Lang is Alpha Male 1: kind of a jerk, kind of aloof, but treats everyone fairly. Pardo is the Awkward Male who doesn't know how to hang; he sucks up and makes awkward spectacles of himself in hopes of acknowledgment. Carolla is Alpha Male 2: he's cool with everyone and wants to make everyone feel at home; too socially perceptive to be #1. McHale is the former-Awkward-Male who tries too hard; picks on Awkwards to differentiate himself.

I'm a fan of both carolla and mchale, and I'm not familiar with pardo, but I don't think anyone was really "the asshole" here. I think their brands of humour or personalities simply just don't mix. Think about it, if it had been donnie or someone with the meat aversion they would have picked on him, but endearingly. But with pardo, mchale especially deals with it awkwardly, and this is coming from a fan of the soup. at least carolla tries to stay inclusive with everyone.
