Virginia Tech Thanks You

Hokies thank the world. On November 17, 2007, approx. 9,000 people gathered on the Virginia Tech campus drillfield to thank the world for their support and contributions in the wake of the April 16, 2007, tragedy. Pictures were taken from satellite, airplane, helicopter and the top of Burrass Hall.

It's a great thing they did and even if i wasn't the huge VT fan I am, I would still appreciate this wonderful gesture. It reminds us that there are great people in this world that will always be there for eachother when they're needed. Great video and thanks for posting. I hope to do my own share of good deeds in my lifetime to make up for my mistakes, and this tells me that its never to late. Thanks again and take care. GO HOKIES!

Nice video! I was in the V. As a student, I stayed for the game and luckily woke up just in time to be a part of this. It was nice seeing so many students and alumni despite it being the weekend before thanksgiving.
