Prisoners' Publix

The Publix grocery supermarket located at 601 South Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301is my favorite Publix ... and the closest to where I live and work. It is officially the "Las Olas Publix," though it is a 12-minute walk from East Las Olas Blvd. (where I work). It is, however, just a traffic signal away from the Broward County Courthouse (of Anna Nicole Smith notoriety) and Jail (555 SE 1st Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301). Because it is more convenient to the jail than Las Olas, I often refer to it as either "Prisoners' Publix" or "Prison Publix," ... depending on my mood. :-) It's still my favorite Publix!!

Oh, sorry. Although I DO like that store because it's clean and close by, it DOES coincidentally reside diagonal from the courthouse (and jail) made famous by the Anna Nicole probate case. So there IS some humor that might need to be explained ... to someone with a minimal sense of humor. Fortunately, that's not YOU, but the serious wise-"crack"-er above! Thanx for clarifying!!

Yeah the hot chicks that shop here make it worth while to shop at. Also the Publix on 5th and Alton in South Beach. Went home with a nice cougar form that one! :))

publix is unamerican they keep me up all night. let me come to your house and talk loud make banging noise forklift running over dock plate crack boom bam at three am get awakened from a dead slleep . i pray publix will be destroyed soon
