Here is one of the first runs of my Maytag 92 washing machine engine powered bicycle, nicknamed "The Agitator" that I have been building. It was not finished at the time of this video. It has a top speed of about 15 MPH, and has no throttle due to the Maytag's design. Then engine was kept ENTIRELY original. It was removed from the original heavy cast iron gas tank and will be substituted with a lighter aluminum tank. The temporary tank in this video is a soda bottle. The kick start has also been removed as it is now started by peddling. The engine can be easily converted to be completely original if desired. When the bike is finished, I will post a longer video detailing its construction and completion. This video was taken on 7/10/10. Enjoy!
