This enquirer has worked at your 4th street location.
You can guess my name if you try hard enough.
Someone knows me, ask around.

I wonder why the sale is only for walk-in visitors and not for Internet sales? I was going to load up, too.....

Dear Customers,
We announce to you with great joy that, in the wake of the death of our large general bookstore, we shall open a new, but much smaller, general bookstore. And it shall be called, "Chestnut Street Books". For it shall be located, appropriately, at 223 Chestnut St. E., Stillwater, MN. Its precise opening date remains a mystery, yet we intend to do it within the first few months of the new year. So please keep an eye out for this new development!
Yours Sincerely,
Loome Booksellers

Dear customers,
The primary reason for not having internet sales was because we could not find a good way to separate the books from Loome Theological Booksellers which is NOT closing, and Loome Antiquarian Booksellers, which is.
However, we have found a method that we think works. details are under the description of the movie above.
Thank you!

Maybe the Internet sales part starts when the physical building closes. Too bad about the store closing....never a happy thing.
The book destruction video was a bit disconcerting.....poor books!

Dear Madam et al.,
We assure you that no books of any value whatever (be it monetary, intellectual, cultural, etc.) were harmed in the making of this film.

Way to destroy the books.
What was in the green goop?
Raidrinn 4 years ago
Dear Enquirer,
We are unsure of the origins of the "green goop" as you call it. One night, many years ago, it was found oozing gradually through the walls of the store. We bottled the stuff up and kept it in a freezer in the haunted basement. Only occasionally have we taken it out for parties, as it tastes something like Jägermeister. Recently, however, the books have discovered it. We could not have foreseen the consequences.
Yours Sincerely,
Loome Booksellers
