An excellent example of the single minded rhetoric used by Antonio Maria Costa to maintain the illusion that punitive measures and denial of harm reduction, is a solution despite all evidence revealing the opposite is correct.

Alex Wodak of Australia offers insightful comments following Dr. Polaks 3rd time asking Costa to explain why cannabis use is notably lower in nations with liberal legislation/decriminalisation, and why harms are highest in nations such as Sweden who deny human rights, harm reduction and health in favour of outmoded, 1970's style "zero tolerance".

Bear in mind that Costa was only appointed to his post because it is reserved for an Italian national. He was clearly of relatively low quality and there was little international enthusiasm for his appointment.
