They have 2 extra long tracks that circle the yard plus the space on the 2nd mainline that ends about a mile past Whittaker...

@JgordonAmtrak1 I wouldn't say 'every' time, but about 75% of the time. Sometimes they send the GP units down there and 'tow' it back to Whitaker...remember the video of the GP units coupling to the ACe?

@Jatt1998 It was the DPU on 226 so they used it for the power and they split the train and this part went to the yard just down the way, while the other half went to Atlanta.
