I hope (even if slowly) more and more people find the genious that this movie really is and the man behind it. The Trailer is nothing compared to the film itself. Watch it or get it if you can. Remember, al thsi effects were done by hand. And mostly by ONE man.
The one and only man in the green jacket: Mike Jittlov.
I heard that he offered to do the SFX for the "The Flash" TV series of the early 1990s. Too bad they didn't take him up on that offer. The effects would've been MUCH better (they were little more than extended motion blurs as it turned out) and cost WAY less (each episode cost $1 million to make — in 1990 dollars! — a MAJOR factor in its cancellation).
I saw this thing 17 years ago and really didn't appreciate it. After reading about the amount of time and money that Jittlov put into this, only to be ripped off, I have a special fondness for TWoSaT. Read the Wikipedia article, then go to the official website - it's well worth the time to read about Jittlov's labor of love and how he was swindled out of everything he did. Jittlov is a man I'd love to sit down and have beers with. I wouldn't ask him to shake hands, he doesn't do that.
This film is awesome! I hear that Jittlov has legally realeased this for download (ripped from a laser disc). I've found it, but there's hardly any seeds :( -- Anyway, absoloutely AWESOME film! Thanks for posting this.

Cheers to him wherever he might be.

They could well have moved it away from The Cosby Show, and with Jittlov's effects, used a cheaper suit.

meh, it was up against the Cosby show, and the suit alone was a fortune

When I saw this when I was little the film blew my mind- looking at it now it's kind of cheesy but the message and stop motion is still awesome \m/
