I remember buying the 7" Single of this and could not believe it didn't chart ??!!-I may not be Hugh's biggest fan as a bloke,,but-fair play,this is an excellent song !!

Does anyone have the shorter 7" Version of this song as a vinyl rip? I'd love to hear it? Is it very different to this extended remix?

..dear JJ,...it is good 2 see you being so kind 2 Hugh,..any chance you might let him back in 4 a couple of gigs then??..LOL:)...bang on m8,.hadn't heard this 4 years,..n' u hav called it rite!!,..GEM of a song this is, and after listenin 2 a lotta the Shugster's solo stuff over the years, am thinkin this is just as good as any of it,.if not better!!...JEAN JACQUES BURNELL ON THE BLOODY BASS!! :)

I used to have the 12" and I recall that hugh is not playing the lead in this only the acoustic, I checked and as follows: Acoustic Guitar - Hugh Cornwell

Hugh solo is fantastic...You have to listen to all his stuff many times,like it is with every great music...Well,old stranglers stuff maybe better,but,for me,Hugh solo is better then the stranglers without him...do not come up with Buzz Warne :-)He is just a copy,take THAT in mind!!!
