Harry Chapin singing A Better Place to Be from Greatest Stories Live. The video transitions are a little slow due to the length of the song, and begins with a black screen for about the first minute, while Harry does his live bit about writing the song before the pics begin. The music speaks for itself. Amazing. Photos are stock images from various places around the net. No copyright infringement intended.

  • This song reminds me that lonliness and depression are an epidemic in the world today. Do you know someone who is lonely? If so, visit or call them and remind them that you love them

  • Man... He should have a much higher place in American music. He's one of the best, Joni, Bob, Harry....

  • The world lost a great talent when he pass on.

  • I think he's one of the greatest song writers. I mean all of his songs tell you stories that you can formulate pictures of so clearly, and each is very descriptive and vivid.

  • RIP Harry
