@TimKilgore I've heard this before, Tim-the whole willing to change thing. Which begs the questions-If Jesus selected them as his earthly representatives, wouldnt he give them the TRUTH from the onset? Would he then change his teachings after 2000 years to fit his new "church"? Is Jesus just "making up the rules after the game has started"? Is Jesus improvising? I dont think so. Thanks for reminding me of this-it just seemed so preposterous that I had forgotten about it.

My mom says the reason they know they are right is cause a bunch of them were incarcerated during that 1914-1917 period and all preaching stopped then she went on about ww1 and thats were her reasoning got so crazy that even i could not follow her logic.

My mom knows this and she has only been a JW since 2005. she recited this to me in 2006 febuary.
My grandmother has been one for 30 years.
