This song ranks up there with the likes of Leonard Cohen, Paul Simon, Joni Mitchell, Dylan, etc. Rarified air that few songwriters reach in a lifetime. Listens well and reads well off the page. That's an extremely hard feat to manage. This song does it.

i really like this song and a lot of the other ones that she did in some of her more recent albums, such as wrecking ball, red dirt girl, stumble into grace...... her earlier stuff is good, but not as good.
