This is a strength and cardio workout mixed together! There is no better way to train! This is what I use with most of my clients with goals of weight loss, calorie burn, but also tone and build muscle. It is a perfect mix to create a great workout! If you have dumbbells use them, if you have bands use them, if you don't make it work! You should be constantly moving and burning in this one!
Start out with a warm up:
- Run in place 20 seconds
- Squat Jumps 20 seconds
-- Arm Circles (10 forward 10 backward x 2)
- Knee Jabs (10/leg)
- Chatter feet 20 seconds
-STRETCH-
Workout:
1st round 2 sets
- Band/Dumbbell Curls (20-25 reps, 10 quick reps at the end)
- Push Ups (10 reps with a squeeze at top, 5 partial reps, 2nd set to failure with 5 partial reps)
- Pulse Squats (10-15 reps)
- Chatter (30 seconds)
2nd round 2 sets
- Band/Dumbbell Side Laterals (10-12 reps)
-Band/Dumbbell Front Raises (10-12 reps)
- Power Jabs (30 seconds)
- Straight Arm Overhead Leg Lifts (10/side)
3rd round 2 sets
- Cradle Tricep Extension (to failure)
- Floor Hops (30 seconds)
- 1/2 Burpees (30 seconds)
4th set 2 sets
- Side to Side Push ups (4 reps/side, to failure)
- Chatter with Pulse Squats (10 seconds Chatter/3 reps Pulse Squats, for 1 minute)
