  • i remember having a video tape called soccer85 it had lineker(everton) and mabbut(spurs) but only had one evertton game on it (2-3 defeat to the redshite in sept of that season)

  • a wet night at the end of the game. That is quality especially as it appears to pick up pace as it travels. He's knocking around the coaching staff somewhere in the lower leagues in England I think.

  • Harry met Sally then West Ham MET GOD !!!!!!

  • @razer4660 no, we won't give away that whole lower tier because:

    a) that's the part of the ground that is easily filled

    b) most teams in the championship couldn't half fill that lower.

i don't see us selling out, but i see us getting a very respectable attendance, average of around 30,000, it will most likely be higher than forest's. we'll sell out against millwall, leeds, forest, cardiff, palace, leicester and all the other biggish clubs.

  • @UnionOfJack to be fair just looked at man utd 4 2 game man utd had some tickets cut due to always standing but thats alot more than 1,500 going up to the goal. when teams have 3,000 go just past the goal so liverpool didnt have double what man utd had, man utd got 2,500 at west ham 1,500 you dont go that far when say wigan blackburn play at upton park. anyway now west ham in the championship poss could give away teams whole lower tier dont see west ham selling out do you

  • @UnionOfJack its you that argued my original point. in my opinion for such a big game west ham in 1986 should have had far more at forest than they did. cost didnt come into it. no one was priced out in them days unlike now. other teams would have had alot more at forest that night. the empty sections next to west ham were in use if alot more away fans turned up. see a few teams fill all of the away section back then. man utd had 3,000 the 4 2 game i see it on tv same as chelsea spurs etc

  • @razer4660 i do pal, i was there. they didn't bring 3,000 because liverpool took that many and went along almost double what west ham did.

i'll say it again, not every club's fans sell out every away allocation, they just don't. end of. this is a stupid argument and you're being very petty about it.

  • @UnionOfJack also man utd had 3,000 at west ham when they won 4 2 earlier in the season the same as chelsea arsenal tottenham etc. from the crn flag to past the goal is 3,000, wigan blackburn etc have 1,500 seats when dont go up as far as the goal man utd didnt do that had 3,000. you really dont know alot do you

  • @UnionOfJack your talking shit i started work on £100 pound a week a few months after. from st pancras the midlands was roughly 1 hour 30 mins manchester liverpool was roughly 3 hours from euston at the time. i went forest around the same time and considering west ham were going for the title should have had more. fans found money to travel to europe so why not london to nottingham. in 87 i couldnt spend £100 a week and i was going all over the country for football total cost cost £20 if that

  • @razer4660 what are you on about?

you can't say 'SHOULD OF HAD A LOT MORE' when you have no clue what went on can you?

even if it was £4.40, that was alot of money then ffs, like for example man united only bought around 1,500 to upton park this year. i'm sorry BUT I VERY MUCH DOUBT FOREST SELL OUT EVERY SINGLE AWAY ALLOCATION THANK YOU VERY MUCH. oh, and forest is 2 and a half hours away mate.
