Storms rolling into Glasgow, Montana around 7:15 pm MDT on June 29, 2011. This storm was tornado warned and produced up to 2" hail. An elevated funnel is visible, as well as some nice CG strikes.
@josecitoperecito this was NOT a shelf cloud. either that or a nother funnel hit the ground west of town (the direction the video is facing). their was a LOT of scud however. this did continue to make a few more sfunnels fartehr north.
though shelf clouds are the portions of storms that carry winds, they cant produce tornadoes. they can produce vortices that can make the scud clouds touch the ground and microbursts or macrobursts.

i rmemeber seeing this. we were putting blankets on my dads classic car...i looked up and seen the funnel. im glad we were missed all summer.
