Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor Review (App Store)

I really dig high-concept games that some folks are cooking up for the App Store. Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor from Tiger Style is a terrific example. This platformer blends puzzle solving with a dark mystery, and wraps it up with stylish graphics and music. A standout title on the App Store in this humble gamer's opinion, and one that warrants a purchase, even if it's not at the $1 App Store Sweet Spot.

Some of the later areas require a bit more skill and thinking to capture all the insects, but I don't think it's overly difficult.

A-mazing! I'm an indie developer too who had a similar concept but it hadn't made it to production. I guess all I can do is commend you; excellent graphic direction, sound, and game play mechanics. I mean wow, you truly knocked it out the box and broke my heart a little but congrats otherwise. May you be successful in your next success.

Great review. You do an awesome job explaining everything. Keep doing reviews for these games on the iPod Touch/iPhone. I need some serious new apps on my Touch. Definitely checking this out.
