Oakland Gold's Gym was the venue for Kortney's workout, which she does with an eye for giving women viewers tips for their own workouts and ab routines. We're joined by female bodybuilder and personal trainer Megan Avalon as well, who really just happened to be working out that day, much to our surprise and luck. Gold's Gym, located at 600 Grand Avenue and managed by Norris Lewis and Cory Cheatham, is a full-service gym for both hard-core bodybuilders, and people just trying to stay in shape. Good video and City Brights article (paragraph 5 says "Korney" instead of "Kortney", a little thing, I know, but I've worked as a Production Artist in sign/label/printing companies and caught hell for little mistakes like that).

Some good fitness tips, and it's always good to see beautiful, muscular women who aren't trying to be scrawny fitness/swimsuit models. I work out at Nautilus Plus because it's closer and open 24 hours, but after seeing this I might have to start going to Gold's.

Candid, unpretentious, 100% natural...God! How refreshing! Most female (and male) bodybuilders - regardless of how knowledgeable and sincere - usually come off sounding somewhat "air-heady"... Not KO! She is attractive, intellegent, witty and undoubtedly someone who would be fun to be around. All of that and a great body, too!
