  • I think this one and "was" are neck and neck for spookiest; check out the "was" one and tell me what you think.

  • Thank you so much for posting this. My father, who passed away a few years ago, loved this one when we were kids in the 1970s. Periodically he would say "ALL!!" in a deep voice jokingly whenever something seemed massive or overwhelming. My family will love this.

  • That's fantastic he did that! I'm glad to have brought this back to your memories. Thank you for commenting. :)

  • My favorite in the whole series; thanks so much!

  • Holy snap -- really? Then you're welcome, you're welcome, you are SO welcome! Glad to be of service!!!

  • Spelling "ALL" as [ɔl] not always shALL be true.

  • In case none of you notice most of these crumbling monolith clips from the electric company are parodies from the movie 2001; a Space Odessy

  • This one is just weird, even with the 2001 reference. My brother and I never liked it, always made no end of fun of it.

  • Thank you so so so much for posting this. I loved this cartoon when I was a kid, and years later, when I saw 2001, I was like -- Oh! That Electric Company cartoon makes SO MUCH more sense now! :)

  • Why i so remember this one - my favourite and yes, i did make the connection between David Bowen In 2001 and this short(i saw the movie twice at age 8. Great, bizarre, and spooky the why the character says the word all twice.

  • This was the spookiest one out of all of them. I never figured this one out until recently. My theory is this: the old man looks about 95 years old has done everything in his life except climbing to the top of something. Now that he has climbed this tall thing, he has done it "ALL" (note the way he says the word twice. My favorite, good job

  • On the other hand, this is the one I >DO< remember. Long before I saw Space Odyssey, this was so bizarre that it practically encoded in my DNA. And even after seeing Kubrick's version, it was a long time before I made the connection. The room hanging surreally in space here, after all, isn't taken from the film. It's a wholly unique image (and mindbending for a six-year-old). Beautiful!
