Ahh man, ment to ask you what stuff he played when you saw him..Such a great show/stand up act, David puts on.I swear if he wasnt a musician he would have been a great stand up commic, lol.I saw him once I think in late 90s and he had the place in stitches between songs.Absolutely love Lindely.

The show was awsome and you're absolutely right, he has some of the dryest humor around.....as for what he played, to be honest i can't really remember the specific songs.....i can tell you that he did not play any El Rayo X or Twango Bango Deluxe material....it was more world/blues....he played strictly lap steel guitars (oud, Weisenborn, Bizouki etc)...he probably switched between 6 "guitars" that night, half of them using a slide...he covered the Dylan tune Well Well Well - fav of the night

Yeah it does, lol, and most so called educated guitarists have no idea that Ry arguably has the longest reume of any guitarist in history. The guys that have heard of him are only familiar with his work in the Crossroads movie soundtrack. They just don't know what they are missing, two of my all time favorite slide musicians that never get old,ha,ha.
