  • @miscpaul some countries find what we eat appalling and disgusting-chicken,cow,pig,lam­b,veal...mayo! Every country has what they like In Japan it isn't disgusting like in the US people like tortured baby animals. Same thing.

  • If you want to eat raw nasty stuff go for it, but atleast have the decency to make sure your "meal" doesn't suffer.

    On that note, anyone who does not have this ability to atleast be decent, I hope you choke on it.

  • It's actually not alive. The muscles in the squid are reacting to the salt on your fingers. Much like how a snail writhes when you put salt on it. The animal is dead but it IS very very fresh for the muscles to still retain the instinct to move away from salt.
