Amtrak's Cardinal, a tri weekly train between New York and Chicago, rolls into Philadelphia's 30th St. Station with an HHP-8 in the lead. This train took me on a 16 hour journey from Philadelphia to my home in Cincinnati, OH.

  • so how do you like city on philly?

  • Love it! I go there a few times a year to visit my cousins. It's a great city.

  • I've only taken it once, but I am going to take it every time I come home from school except in the summer.

  • Great video. It's hard to find videos of this train.

  • I know. It's especially hard to find ones at Philadelphia of all places because you have to actually take the train in order to get down onto the platform to videotape it.

  • yes it is alot of things are nice here.

  • very true - rare to see a viewliner on the back of a train on the NEC. Caught a glimpse of it there.

  • It's hard to catch it on the NEC period because it runs early. People can catch it west but not many do.
