Cardinal arriving Philadelphia

Amtrak's Cardinal, a tri weekly train between New York and Chicago, rolls into Philadelphia's 30th St. Station with an HHP-8 in the lead. This train took me on a 16 hour journey from Philadelphia to my home in Cincinnati, OH.

Love it! I go there a few times a year to visit my cousins. It's a great city.

Great video. It's hard to find videos of this train.

I know. It's especially hard to find ones at Philadelphia of all places because you have to actually take the train in order to get down onto the platform to videotape it.

very true - rare to see a viewliner on the back of a train on the NEC. Caught a glimpse of it there.

It's hard to catch it on the NEC period because it runs early. People can catch it west but not many do.
