Fauja Singh, most probably the oldest marathon runner in the world (100 years, 2011), is interviewed by German TV (ZDF). It is one of the rare occasions, where a Sikh is a main protagonist in a German TV show. Fauja Singh speaks about his love for running and charities, and his trust in the One Creator. According to Fauja Singh, it is the Creator who enables him to keep on running, remain humble and honest. The translation and the additional information provided by the translation is not really appropriate. For instance, the founder of Sikhi Guru Nanak, is wrongly described as the "God of Sikhs"

Ja , fast alles ist falsch übersetzt, die Frau hat einfach irgendetwas was ihr in den Kopf gekommen ist reininterpretiert! Fauja Singh hat nicht mal was Guru Nanak oder seinem Sohn erwähnt. Ich verstehe gar nicht wie sie es so falsch übersetzen konnte.... !!!

Was bist du bloß für eine Gestalt. Lern erstmal ältere Menschen zu Respektieren! Der Mann hat mehr mehr drauf als du in deinem ganzen Leben haben wirst! Mit 100 Jahren einen Marathon zu laufen und erst mit 80 Jahren angefangen haben zu trainieren, das ist eine Leistung! Du kleines Balg!
