This technique (I do regret referring to it as toe-heel now) is much more effective than the heel toe technique in my opinion, but I don't think it should be named heel-toe.

I refer to it as the moeller technique on the feet since it resembles the mechanisms!

  • @XxStrongDrums1996xX Fuck off, idiot. Go fucking learn something before you talk SHIT to me.

  • Moeller was a guy, his name was sanford a moeller. the moeller method was named after him because he studied civil war snare drummers who could play blazing speeds with little effort. He then taught it to Jim chapin who taught this method as a secret method, who recently died in 09. the moeller method was used with the hands. Not the feet. lol. More of a push pull like you said in the video. Good vid though

  • @Justs99171 Actually, your education is garbage.

  • Free drum lessons in their "Bass Drum Boot Camp" showcased this technique in their heel-toe section. It is just an adaptation to make the technique more universal, instead of just restricting it to longboard pedals.

  • Explain to me, how you got such an awesome bass drum sound! Nice technique too btw.

  • I love how when he slows it down you can really see how that cam works, it literally just snaps

  • Who is the guy explaining? Thx.

  • Is that Powerglove music in the opening seconds of this video?

  • would this be a good technique for double bass? or would that make it very unbalanced?
