Short video showing the new Royal Enfield B5 model, the least expensive model sold in the U.S. at $5495. This motorcycle has a 499cc "Unit Construction Engine" with the engine and transmission as a single casting. It is fuel injected and has a 3-stage catalytic converter in the exhaust, meeting all U.S. and European emission standards. Purchased September 24 from Polaris West in Katy, Texas.

  • @protesialbanese I use mine for the freeway commute at 70 mph, and it is returning 59 miles per U.S gallon. Others who ride mostly secondary roads report better, sometimes in the 70s.

  • hey Alan.... cool bike.... i love bullets.....majestic.... manly...

specially this one ....that is the standard black as they say in India..... looks awesome.....

iam not very fond of the modifications that people do with the enfield bikes...takes the look out of it..... enjoy ur rides man....

  • @haddytube1 Thanks. "Standard Black"... good to know.

I have to admit that I'm modifying it some. I added a luggage rack and have mounted a suitcase from the 1940s or 1950s, so that I can have some carrying capacity. I'm also adding a windshield. I'm riding at 70 mph in rush hour traffic, so I have to be practical. The suitcase is okay, but the windshield does spoil the look.

Also, do you know if accessories from the older carby Enfield classics are compatible?
