The IMF is concerned about the impact of price increases for food and fuel, especially on the poor, and is monitoring closely the current commodity price boom.

This video outlines what the IMF is doing about this issue, and how it is collaborating with the United Nations and other agencies to help relieve the impact on the most vulnerable.

  • This is the end of consumerism, the whole world attention is focused on the health of the entire planet. This is the end of civilisation based on "money".

The food shortage is related to the industrialisation of the food chain, many (now too late) have learned the lesson, to start growing their own food and seed is much better than to rely on the nonsense WTO policies.

Peace let the poor live in peace.
