He did not say anything about all north carolinians being redneck fucks, he was just sepcifically calling out the redneck fucks in north carolina. I think it says something that you think he was talking about all of you though... some doubt maybe.

@nerdymom2 Cool, you made an oversimplified (though certainly not entirely unfounded) observation about the holy text of well over a billion people. Fair enough. But as a staunchly pro-separation of church and state North Carolinian, I'd object to your referring to all inhabitants of this state as "redneck fucks." That's rather intolerant of you, and pretty much the elitist liberal atheist equivalent of intolerant conservative Christians referring to all Muslims as terrorists.

@nerdymom2 Did you know that you can't prove that?

Aran Ryan? PUNCH OUT?!

@nerdymom2 I live in North Carolina dude...and I want to apologize on that one. I cant really blame you for saying that, though.

@MrFiendishCretinII That depends on which sect of Satanism. The Levey Satanists don't even believe in Satan.
-
@MrWable25 Rather, we open minded secularists should allow Christians to celebrate the (minuscule) Christian part of Xmas

thats kinda of sad though

I don't think of Christmas as a day to celebrate the birth of Christ, I look at the holiday as a time to have some family fun. Considering that Christmas has pagan roots, christians have no right to exclude athiests and agnostics from celebrating the secular side of Christmas. Therefore, if students are singing Jingle Bells instead of Silent Night at their school Christmas party, that should be okay.
