Happy Saint Georges Day!

i was taught at school that Saint George and the slaying of the dragon was a mythical legend! I now believe he was born in Syria. And i ask what was that Dragon he slayed and why was he stupid enough to attack it on his own. Was the dragon a welshman? Or a person residing in Wales? As we are led to believe there is no proof that a dragon ever existed, no skeletons or fossils! Next we will be celebrating King Arthur's day or even Victor Meldrew or JR Ewing Day. Wake up people stop celebrating.

@philipsmovies It is symbolic of St George's spiritual battles against the devil. The dragon is widely used in Christianity as a symbol of the evil one, especially historically.
