well, i think horses that you see all the time - they are 16 to 17 hand - are normal, thats the standard.... If a horse is smaller or bigger than the standart, thes it is ist big ore small, everything else is normal. My horse is 17.2 hand high with 800 kilogramm and he is normal size, only a little heavier than the warm blooded horses... it´s great that u are able to mount him, i can´t do this but really big or tall is he not. (sry for my bad english, i´m german)

some people think so lol.
but no i ride with a saddle too on occasion. its just that when i ride bareback i can feel what shes doing better there's nothing between us. idk it's just...better.
