  • Hey, I got a '77 J-10 as well, wantin to put some bigger tires on it, wonderin if there is a lift I could use thats not custom... and where I could get it.

  • the biggest i found was a 4" bds lift it was about $1200 Can. came with new leafs all around and all the hardware and shocks.

  • I have a 4" BDS on my 76 J-10, Did you have any tie rod problems with the new spring placement?

  • No problems there i have a drop pitman arm now and we made a sort of block system instead of the old perches in the front on the axle to get about 4 more inches. but every thing else worked great no major complications in the front for a 12 inch lift.

  • do you have the quadratrac?

  • yes , going to put manual hubs in the front
