How to get R4 working With The Nintendo Ds

TURORIORAL TO SETUP YOUR R4 ON YOUR DS AND DS LITE.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1.Open software cd and go to folder "system v1.11" and then go to the "English" folder
2.Copy/Paste all items in "English" folder to the root of your DS memory card

OPTIONAL:

You may want to make a separate folder for your games .e.g. "DS ROMS" and store all of your games in there

OR

Just simply save them to the root of the DS memory card

I got an r4 before with a 2GB micro SD

I just bought a 8GB mincro SD and even when i put on the software, it says loading and it never ends! what do i do?

You might need to update your kernal firmware.

when i open the pendrive thingy it ses sumtin about a CD and wont let me open it

Is your memory card scratched or damaged from the front. This may be why it does not come up.

ok when I turn my ds on it goes to the system menu and when i put in my r4 with the files it goes to the system menu and says there is no ds card inserted. so wtf is going on?

all i did was put any non game files from my r4 into my bros r4 and it worked like that, he mustve deleted any firmare or software idk

dude, if it's a real r4 it doesnt take memory sticks above 2gb
