Southern CA is home of the most amazing feats of highway engineering outside of Germany. CalTrans did a great job designing and planning the CA highway system.

Let me guess all the interchanges in the video.. 1: I-5 and I-710 interchange 2: I-5 and I-710 interchange (via i-710) 3: I-710 and CA 60 interchange. 4: East LA interchange (CA 60, I-10, I-5 and US-101) 5: East LA interchange, again 6: 4 Level interchange, CA 110 and US 101 7: I-405 and I-10 (I think?) 8: I-110 and I-105 interchange 9- I-405 and I-105 interchange. Okay, that might be enough now.

Most notable interchange to me is the Mission Valley interchange between Interstate 805 and 8 in San Diego, which is San Diego's only freeway symmetrical interchange.

I recognize so many places I drove when I drove my trucks in L.A. area. Great vid!

Love highway scenery.

Oh, and by the way, when were these video clips taken? Looks almost like the '90's-early '00's.

You are right, most were done around 2000.

What is that Double Decker Freeway at :54 sec?

The scene at :54 is northbound 110 at US 101 in downtown L.A. There is also a level under it, and it is known as the "Four Level Interchange".
