It says Ranger and Yamaha as his Boat and Motor Sponsor and hes in a Triton paired with a Merc, Did his boat break down and this is a loner boat and anyways hes with BassCat since 2008

They use their own boat each and every say if each and every tournament. The only exception is if they have mechanical problems while on the water, if that happens BASS provides a backup boat

i thought they were able to use their on boat during the entire tournament?. any how. John i saw you in Richmond Va yesterday. good job. but did you stop with Yamaha. i saw basscat and merc on your shirt. hope not. YAMAHA rules!! :-)

It was to show off the sponsors who supported BASS but in 2007 or 2008, BASS argee on the last day of the event the anglers could fish out of their own boat. Being the anglers can promote their sponsors potentially on TV.

huh, whyed they do that in the first place?

I think this was back when on the last day they had to use boats provided by BASS which were all Mercury/Triton. Now they are able to use their boat on the last day.
