This is definitely Lucianos' best version of Granada. And if here and there there are some imperfections of pronunciation and at a few places he tends to rush a bit, it is still a great version.A pity he didn't make a recording of Spanish songs.

@jgerardodelgadoable No I didn't. The language is Spanish. The Madrid Spanish, is not the same as in Mexico. Here in the states, when people visit from Spain they tell me that their Spanish is different than what the Mexicans speak.

@HeatherGlen33 This is a Mexican Song..Agustin Lara from Mexico wrote this Granada +Madrid+Maria Bonita+Solamente Una vez, etc, etc,,Did you know that?

@moonrockguy Rather than drag out my VCRs of all the Pavarotti concerts, I can get them all on this computer. What an invention! Even at 82 yrs old I taught myself the computer, and there is no excuse not to have one.

At 57 years of age this grand tenor could still stun with his heavenly gift!

Truly, musically, this has to be the ultimate combination of human talent.
Will an orchestra such as this be matched with such a voice in such an arena again?
Put it on a DVD and launch it into deep space so it may be preserved for eternity
He is so charming, beautiful.
