In the spirit of learning about each others cultures and religion, Kindergarten students from Angiers Elementary school in Kearny Mesa took a field trip next door to private Jewish school Soille San Diego Hebrew Day School to visit with their Kindergarteners learn about Hannukah which began that evening. The students saw the amazing display of hand-made Menorahs for the annual Menorah making contest and then sat with the Soille Hebrew Day students to sing Hannukah songs and play the dreidel game. Soille Hebrew Day School is proud to reach out to the community to educate others about Jewish holidays and its culture. It is an important for children to learn about and celebrate each others differences. The holidays are a perfect time to learn how each religion expresses gratitude and faith.
