  • Right away I see that she is not keeping her shoulders at a higher level. One must raise their shoulders to within 2 inches of their chinlevel. The shoulders must be level, not sloping away. They look better this way too. Lengthen the spine, align the neck. Balance the head so the ears are above the shoulders. The sternocleidomastoids, the neck muscles, will pull up the clavicle and the sternum so the chest will rise too. Difficult, but imperative to have that "look" and nice appearance.

  • very useful... i find it much easier to retract in the slight forward bend you recommend rather than in a seated position.

  • is it correct that is tighter on one side, almost uncomfortable/difficult, in the lower back to neck area?
