Pranayama (Sanskrit: prāṇāyāma) is a Sanskrit word meaning "lengthening of the prana or breath". The word is composed of two Sanskrit words, Prāna, life force, or vital energy, particularly, the breath, and "āyāma", to lengthen or extend. It is often translated as control of the life force (prana).

Pranayam : andningsövningar

1. Bhastrika : Bälgblåsning. Fyll lungorna. Blås ut

2. Kapal Bhati : Fyll magen blås ut. Pannlysning. Sitta rakt koncentrera på pannan. Auraställning.

3. Bahya : Utandning. Hålla andan efter att ha andas ut. Dra in magen. Tre lock. Baslock (dra upp, samman anus), Navellock (naveln in), Halslock (hakan mot halsen, nyckelben)

4. Analom-Vilom : Växelvisandning. Håll för höger näsborre, andas in vänster, håll fär vänster näsborre, andas ut höger näsborre, andas in höger näsborre, håll för etc..

5. Bhramary : Humlaandning

6. Ujjayi : Halsandning

7. Odhigeetha : Sjunga högt aum




With yoga you strenghten your inner organs, make your body more flexible and strong, loose weight etc. Combine with meditation and you will improve yourself mentally and physically.
