  • @jowek70 yeah i've always wanted to, it doesn't seem nearly as heard as a modern car or anything. I want a new Kawa. myself, but i still want to keep the 9r, its like a staple bike.

  • @Schutzstaffel23

    Good to hear.

you should give a try wrenching on your own bike though, so many positives in doing it.

its really easy to do and learn also.

I took my zx9r all the way down to the frame last winter.

I won ROTM for the month of June on zxf.

Looking to sell the bike though and get a new 10r.

  • @jowek70 no lol, im not a guy who does work to something, my buddy does it, i just ride. That was my best way of explaining it. i dont know if theyre from a zx10r, i know there carbs for a 1000cc lol. ill have to ask him the brand of cams that are in there though. If i was reading things from the internet i would of said its turbo and has 510 bhp lol.

  • @Schutzstaffel23

um.....unless you took them from a late 80's zx10r you are wrong.

the only new zx10r's in existence use FI.

oversized cams? from where? custom ground?

full headers? as opposed to semi-headers?

lol are you just reading shit off the internet and saying "your bike has it"

    haha lord.

  • @jowek70 yeah my '96 has oversized cams, carbs off a zx10r, and full headers/ muzzy. Yeah i would go with the muzzy, it sounds amazing.

  • @Schutzstaffel23

I have a full Delkevic, with a stubby C/F can.

I think i'm getting a muzzy this spring though, not happy with the sound of it.

We'll see though, I will most likely leave it as is and get a 2012 zx10r.

  • @jowek70 yeah i wouldnt mind getting a real c/f one for my '96. what kind of exhaust you running on yours?

  • @r1gester

Yeah I know I have a 96 zx9r that uses the same bracket.

It mounts below the front bracket on the gas tank, up to the nose fairing ears, where the mirrors come through and mount to it at the same time.

Never seen a c/f one though and it doesn't look like wrap.

  • @jowek70 lol... not my bike, but it looks like its not a mirror bar, it's CF frame to hold the old school fairing on..

  • @r1gester

    where'd you get it?
