nice setup but red tailed boas do not need a blacklight. and you should not get a bigger tank that tank is big enough for the rest of his or her life.

my female columbian boa constrictor is a 1 1/2 old and she is 4 feet. she eats 2 large rats, 1 extra small rabbit, 1 jumbo rat. how old was yours and how much did she weigh.

Where did u get the cage?? Also why dont u keep the light on??

@fredwreckless Because they don't need a light at night? It imitates night and sleep time.. Kinda like how would you feel if someone kept a bright ass light on every night while you were sleeping? Would suck wouldn't it? And the tank was just a 55gal fish aquarium.. Just a standard everyday aquarium you see everywhere. I don't have the snake anymore, I quit my reptile hobbie, and moved on to fish and something more fun to watch and cheaper to care for.
